Today we went to the Mariner game where they honored adoptive families in what they called "We are Family" day. Everyone in the family received a Mariner hat with "We are family" on it, and the girls got a poster too. We also got to walk the field, where the girls got to high five a player (don't remember who), then get a photo taken with John Wetteland, the bullpen coach. Our friends, the Nielsens, also an adoptive family, went with us.
The three girls enjoyed eating cracker jacks and cheering on the team. We even got on the Jumbo Tron screen!
Believe it or not, Josh told me this was the first time he ever ate cotton candy! Can't believe we deprived him that long...
The only thing that could've made the day better would have been if the Mariners beat the Rangers. They were leading going into the ninth, but ended up losing in eleven innings:(
